Shipping & Delivery
All orders placed before 2 p.m. Mon-Fri will be shipped the same day.
We ship nationwide throughout New Zealand.
Free shipping on all orders over $90, flat rate shipping of $8.50 for all orders under $90.
Returns
Coastal Lights Candles are carefully inspected before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded. However, we will replace or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to Coastal Lights Candles within 7 days of delivery.
You may also exchange your product for another candle of the same size and price within 14 days of purchase. The buyer is responsible for shipping cost on all return items.
In the unfortunate event the package is damaged during shipping you may return your unused candle(s) for a full refund of your purchase price, less shipping and handling within 14 days of delivery.

CANDLE CARE
When lighting your Coastal Lights Natural Soy Candle for the first time allow a ‘pool’ to create to the edge of the glass vessel. This may take up to an hour depending on the diameter of the candle, allowing the candle to burn evenly from the first light and avoid future tunnelling.
To extinguish the flame immerse the wick in the melted wax so as not to destroy the ambient scent that has been released into your room by a ‘smoking’ wick. If needed trim the wick to approximately 1/2cm to maintain a clean burning candle.
Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Always burn candle within sight and always keep out of the reach of children and pets.
